Booking & Quotes

 

How do I get a quote or make a booking?

To get a quote or make a booking visit us at www.clearwaycars.com and use our simple on line quote/booking form.

Alternatively you can call us direct on 01242 573-574 or text 07757 777 247 and receive that personal touch.

 

When do I need to book my car?

All online bookings should be made at least 24 hour(s) in advance.

All journeys originating at an airport (which are not return journeys where Clearway has taken you to the airport) must be prepaid in full at least three days before the date of travel.

For bookings within the next 24 hour(s) please call us on 01242 573-574 or text 07757 777 247 to confirm availability.

 

Will I receive confirmation of my booking?

When booking your trip with Clearway cars you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the booking details and cost for your records.

Please read the confirmation carefully for destination, date & times, numbers of passengers etc and inform us of any discrepancies as soon as possible.

 

Can I change my booking?

Yes simply call us and we can amend your booking accordingly.

 

Payment & Receipts

 

How do I pay?

You can pay by credit/debit card ( subject to a 3.7% transaction fee ) by booking on line or over the phone.

We accept all major cards as payment. If you wish to pay by cash please make your booking via the phone and pay the driver on the day.

 

Do you operate a fixed price policy?

The price quoted is the price you pay. The price paid allows for up to 30 minutes waiting time after the plane lands.

Each period of 15 minutes after that time will be charged at £5.

Car parking fees are to be paid to the driver on the day and he will supply you with a receipt.

The only exception to this are bookings for Bank Holidays, Cheltenham’s Gold cup Week or if you book incorrectly (i.e you specify the wrong time) you may be asked to pay the difference on the day.

 

Am I charged if my flight is delayed?

No, we do not charge you any extra if your flight is delayed. We always check your arrival time before we dispatch your driver.

 

Do you provide a receipt?

We will email you a receipt with a booking reference and contact number by email.

Parking and additional wait time receipts will be provided by the driver on the day.

 

Accounts

 

I’m a business customer can I get a credit account?

Yes please contact us with your requirements using the contact us page or request call back to discuss.

 

Are there any privileges for accounts customers?

Yes accounts customers are able to book transport at shorter notice and pick up from airports are done with a meet & greet service, you will also receive a report detailing your account history on a monthly basis via e-mail.

 

Does it cost more for account customers?

No. There is no difference in pricing at all.

 

Cancellations

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings cancelled with at least 12 hours notice will be refunded in full, this may take up to 3 working days.

If you cancel a booking after the vehicle has been dispatched then a charge may be incurred; the charge will be based on the distance/time that the allocated driver has travelled/spent prior to the point of cancellation.

If you have made a booking through the Quote/Book/Pay service, and have cause to cancel your booking before a vehicle has been dispatched to you, a charge of 5% will be levied on the original payment made.

 

Special Deals

 

Do you have any special deals?

Yes any special deals we have will be advertised on the website under latest deals. If you see a deal advertised on our website that suits your needs then contact us asap. Deals generally do not hang around very long.

 

Do special deals have to be paid for in advance?

Yes any special deals we have will only be guaranteed upon receipt of payment in full prior to the journey.

 

In car Services

 

What can I expect during the journey?

Your journey with Clearway will start with a complimentary bottled water chilled and refreshing. During your journey if you want you can commit to work on your laptop if you’re a business traveller or you can surf the internet with our free superfast Mifi (mobile wifi). If your mobile device or phone is running low on battery, don’t worry we can recharge it for you with our universal in car chargers.

Are there any time restrictions?

No we operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and can accomodate all requirements. Special requirements can be discussed at time of booking

 

Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?

For accounts customers Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area by the airport information desk holding a ‘meet & greet’ board with your name clearly written on it. all other customers You will receive a txt message with the drivers location (parking bay number & row) car registration number, type of car and contact number. The driver will wait for you at this location if you are having trouble finding the driver then please phone the number in the text message for the drivers assistance.

 

What type of vehicles do you have?

We have a variety of vehicles available to you from standard saloon to wheelchair accessible.

 

Do you provide car seats for children?

For Health and Safety reasons clearway are unable to provide any form of child seat. However, if you are booking a return journey and have your own child seat, the driver who carries out your booking will store your child seat for the return journey, please note that the installation of the child seat must be carried out by you
